Cook Hall, also called the Entomology Building, at Michigan State University in East Lansing. Constructed in 1889, it is part of MSU’s historic Laboratory Row of six buildings constructed between 1888 and 1909. For more than 50 years it has housed graduate students from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. In 1969 the building was named in honor of Albert J. Cook, an 1862 graduate and one of the leading economic entomologists of his time. Entomology is the branch of zoology focused on the study of insects
